The Beat Meters play their own funk/jazz versions of danceable rock, pop, jazz, and blues covers. Their repertoire includes selections primarily from the 50's, 60's, 70's with a smattering of tunes from the 80's, 90's, the present, and some of their own original material. They also can perform classic dinner jazz for any event, the traditional ceremonial music for most weddings, and have their own in-house DJ. The personnel includes Veronica Page on lead vocals, Greg Reginato on lead guitar, Joe Kaline on rhythm guitar and saxophones, Jan Martinelli on bass, and Seth Affoumado on drums. All band members are accomplished vocalists in there own right, and jump effortlessly from lead to backup as required by the material. They are a live, working band recently featured every 1st and 3rd thursday at Northlight Books in Cotati, CA, The Hydro in Calistoga, Ana's Cantina in St. Helena and at various other venues and events in and around the San Francisco Bay Area.
